Booking terms

When you book on cappadocia.ae you enter a contract with Rate Extra Tourism L.L.C, Dubai, for the service described on the booking page. The price you pay is the AED amount shown at payment, and your booking exists once you receive an e-mail with a booking reference.

The parties

The contract is between you, the person making the booking, and Rate Extra Tourism L.L.C, licence 1253634, Office 105-A75, Al Markaz Al Tejari 1, Bur Dubai, Dubai. You confirm that you are at least 18 and that you have the authority to book for the other travellers named.

Services in Türkiye are delivered by suppliers under contract with our operations partner, Safaryar Holidays, or directly with us.

Prices

All prices are shown in AED. A USD figure may be shown alongside for reference only; the charge to your card is in AED. Prices on guide pages are indicative and dated. The live price is the one shown on the booking page at the moment of payment, and that is the price you agree to.

Prices include the services listed on the booking page. They do not include flights, visas, travel insurance, meals not listed, or tips.

Confirmation

After payment we send an e-mail with a booking reference. That e-mail is your proof of booking. Please keep it and quote the reference in any message to us. If you do not receive it within one hour, check your spam folder and then write to sales@rateextra.ae.

For some products, such as hotel rooms, the booking is confirmed by the supplier after payment. If a supplier cannot confirm, we offer an alternative or a full refund within five working days.

Supplier conditions

Each product carries the conditions of the supplier who delivers it. These are shown on the booking page before you pay. Where a supplier condition and this page differ, the supplier condition on the booking page applies to that product.

Balloon flights

Balloon flights in Cappadocia operate only with the morning approval of the Turkish civil aviation authority and the operator's pilot. Neither we nor the operator can promise that a flight will take place on a given day. If a flight is cancelled by the authority or the operator, you are offered another morning or a full refund, as set out on the cancellation page.

Travel documents

Passports, visas and entry requirements are your responsibility. Citizens of the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain should check the official e-Visa site at evisa.gov.tr for their current entry conditions before booking. We cannot refund a service missed because a traveller could not enter Türkiye.

Force majeure and weather

Neither party is liable for failure to perform caused by events outside its reasonable control, including severe weather, airspace closures, strikes, natural events or government orders. In such cases we work with the supplier to reschedule, and where that is not possible we refund what the supplier refunds to us.

Our liability

We are responsible for booking the service you paid for with a licensed supplier and for passing your details to them correctly. We are not the carrier, the hotel or the pilot. We are not liable for injury, loss or damage caused during a service delivered by a supplier, beyond what UAE law requires. Our total liability for any booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking.

Nothing on this page limits liability that cannot be limited under UAE law.

Your responsibilities

Please give accurate names, flight numbers and contact details, arrive at pickup points at the time shown, and follow the safety instructions of pilots, drivers and guides. A service missed because of a late arrival or an incorrect detail follows the product's cancellation policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai. Disputes are subject to the courts of Dubai.
